I recently read "Little Brother" by Cory Doctorow.

It’s more or less a handbook in your rights as a free individual in the western world as well as a teaching book in surveilance and computer technology. Pretty cool stuff, and quite chilling. The scenario in this book feels very real, and is a warning for todays society who’s gradually been letting go of its civil rights in order to fight "terrorism"!
